Hey guys. New member to the forum but have been following along since 2015.
Recently completed my conversion build with a 6” rough country lift and 37” tires. Always knew I would either swap out the air suspension or get another truck without it. Recently this year my front passenger side was adjusting slower and slower and eventually I would find myself riding with a slanted truck for a few miles, especially in the cold. Have about 70k miles on her and knew it was either get new airbags ($$$) or just do the lift conversion and keep the truck until it dies.
Well- to those like me who always wondered, it is indeed possible and rides better than with the air ride in my opinion. Pics below. Wheels are Fuel 20x10 and tires are Nitto Recons 37x12.5.
