Hello ,
I installed the leds and it worked out !
I connected then to a fuse cigar lighter power ,
So when the truck is on they come on .
Works great , I didn’t have to take the entire grill off just the top screws and tilted forward .

Here is what I did for mine, it is further down in the thread. I have since switched out to T-Taps which are way better and I have the smoked clear lens but amber light insatlled now

good link and great resource for anyone going to do it. I used option 2 on your drawings.
