Auto Entry/Exit Mode

Just picked up mine yesterday.

Pretty crazy that it does not have a setting to lower to Entry/Exit mode when you shift into "P". Seems obvious that there should be at least a setting for this. I was hoping to eliminate side steps with this but if I have to push the button to lower once I park and hit the button on the remote when I am getting in, then might as well get some boards and forget about the manual Entry/Exit mode. Love the air suspension but think it is really crazy not to have this automatic mode.

Any know of a way to make tis happen?

I learn to just push the lower button in the truck while driving in the driveway or parking spot/ garage then once I hit the low speed needed to lower it starts lowering. Probably not auto low in case there are boulders under ur truck at any given point in time.
I would think it would come with this but because of the terrain that could accommodate a truck like this you may not want to have your truck auto lower.

I'm actually not a fan of the auto entry/exit mode. It takes too long to lower and and too long to raise back up. My wife is 5' 2"s and I've just been dropping it to aero mode when we get somewhere while I'm still looking for a place to park and than put it in normal mode once I get back in the truck.

I almost had the dealer put the steps on and than when they showed me the auto entry/exit mode I decided against it. I'm actually rethinking the steps.
I have been looking at / considering steps. I love the E/E Mode but unless i preemtivly start lowering it. some of my passengers dont like waiting hahaha.

Also my parents driveway is very steep and it wont lower when on an incline.
I have the Ram 1500 Sport with air and there is some things to be warned about.

The suspension works great for hunting trips, auto load level kicks ass; and yes is very slow for entry exit mode. The major trouble myself and others have had is towing issues. Please read your owners manual and ensure your truck is in "tire jack mode" to hook up a trailer and never ever shut your truck off while disconnecting a trailer. This especially applies when using equalizer bars. I also when with the triple hinge Power boards from bestop and they fold up real good and offer minor body protection. Its how I avoided steps. I ill post a pic of a set that has been on the salty Canadian roads for 2 winters.

I am also really hoping someone here could take me a photo of the front strut assembly I really want to see the front suspension to see if a spacer block was used to lift the front or how it was done as.. I need it.
Interesting i dont know where the thread is but checking this morning in the menu there is an option to turn off Aero Mode..

What are the reasons for turning off system for towing. I towed camper last weekend and just kept it on Aero mode with know issues. Just want to know reasons why so I can avoid issues also. Manual doesn't mention that about towing.
So I wasn't going to put boards on either but I hate entry mode and even my wife at 5'6" has a hard time getting in at entry mode. I had AMP steps I put on my 09 crew cab, looks like I'll be getting another set.
Lol when my wife is shopping I put it in enter/exit mode when she gets out. Then jack it up off road mode while parked and entertain myself for a few seconds when she attempts to get back in.

That is Great! I need to try that
