The Driving Lights flash amber with the signals

Bumper Light bar Spot/Flood

Nice and Bright

Phase 2 will add two more switches and two more sets of lights

On my drive into the office this morning I discovered the driving lights turn amber with applying the brakes.
This is because of the fuses I tapped off of for the turn signal feature. I used the trailer turn signal fuses which are also for the stop lights on the trailer

I think I can live with it, plus I like to think helps make me a little more visible coming to a stop

I did receive the last of the Switch Bodies and the 2 rocker covers to complete the overhead console.... but in doing so I discovered a misspelling on one of the switches...

See if you can find it LOL

Looks like I’m going to need order another cover... nice part is the company is right next door

I just ordered a new cover to fix the spelling error....

Plus ordered the last of the covers to complete the total switch banks. I’ll just have to wire to the center console, which is part of Phase 3.... possibly Phase 2... we shall see

I got the switches and the covers here

Phase 2 of the lights complete...

Got my hood hinge mounts and lights wired up

I also fixed the misspelled switch and moved the power for the Amber mode on the Driving lights from the trailer turn signals to the switch bank in the headliner

Now I need to wait for the sun to go down to get some good lighting pics

I’ve seen some on eBay for 84.99, with pods and the wiring harness, but not sure if the quality is just as good.

Are you rocking the Zroads hood hinge mounts?

I’ve seen some on eBay for 84.99, with pods and the wiring harness, but not sure if the quality is just as good.

I actually got a pair of Dasen hood hinge mounts

I found them on Amazon. They actually look different then the ones Amazon show. They look closer to the Zroads

All these stay at Home Orders... it’s like that saying about “Idle Minds”

so

Phase 3 of the lighting has started LOL
- Marker Lights -

just 4 for now LoL

Now, I’m waiting on a 3/4” hole cutter Set
And...
I’m currently making the wiring harness
Then all I’ll have to do is run the wiring harness and just plug it into the power board

I already put together the wire harness, so connecting the power up was a snap

Changed out my light bar in the bumper grill
It was a straight 120watt bar on one switch, but that was actually a mistake…
I finally found the Bar I wanted from the get go. 2 separate circuits, one for the center clear lights and one for the outer amber lights. This cuts the wattage to 60watts each…. Luckily I had enough switches in the head liner

now I’m going to reuse the old 120watt light bar and make it a rear facing Cargo/Camping light
I also provisioned for 2 more switches in the center console

I just need to get the wires ran now, then I can mount my last 2 switches

Finally got the old 120watt light bar mounted on my bed basket as a “cargo light”…. Now I just need to run the power wires and get the switches added to the lighting system
