I got my rebel 2 days ago and one thing is missing. Cylinder deactivation.
One of my favorite features on my 2014 Sport Hemi.
It would say ECO at the bottom left of the EVIC when active.
I read everywhere it's suppose to have it. I think it's a feature of that engine.

Is it something that has to be enabled?

I is an option in the head unit (radio) of the truck. I had to turn mine on, if you wanted to see it. However I don't see it come on much.....

I think it comes on AFTER a certain break-in period. I didn't see mine for the first 2 weeks/ 500 miles, and I was babying the throttle. Then, one day it just showed up. Give it at least 500 miles and report back.....it's there, don't worry.

I just hit a 1,000 miles on mine and haven't seen that light either. It could be because the way I drive it..... I did notice that my fuel mileage is better in the Rebel than I was getting in my 2012 Ram 1500.

Just set mine. Have 1100 miles. Just do what previous post says under settings on radio and check box. I think it's working either way, it will just show on dash. Will probably become annoying. Lol

I just tried deactivating the fuel saver and I don't get the ECO button. Please all verify my setting string I provided..... My truck came with deactivated and I activated it around 50 miles and seen it ever since. Currently odometer is 842

I turned mine on from the settings but it barely comes on.
Hmm also my MPG is 12.8ish (EVIC number)
Waiting on next fill up to get more accurate number.

My mileage is 16 plus and I drive like an idiot. Lol. You may need to have that checked. I am concerned about that. Please keep us posted.

I'm stoping by the dealer today.
Just want to get some stats.

How do y'all drive?
AERO all the time or normal with auto AERO?

Do you have 4x4 or 2x4

Tire pressure 55F/45R as recommended?

Me:
Normal
4x4
As recommend.

From what I noticed when I drive is that the slower I drive the worst my MPG gets. I seem to get better MPG when I drive with a heaver foot.

4x4
Normal with auto Aero.
50psi in all tires.

So, service advisor tells me it's normal to be getting 12.
"Chrysler and EPA over estimates the numbers"
I'll be going to a different dealer next week. I'll keep ya'll updated
Didn't like this dealer anyway, they just had a good deal.
