De-Badged Rebel

I like it will the badges. just does not look right IMO

I had a 2011 RAM 1500 Express and de badge it, did a 2" X 4 " drop, it looked great!

for the adhesive removal once the badge is off, I would highly recommend the 3M eraser wheel. When you use your fingernail or a credit card to get it off, you are likely scratching the paint ever so slightly. Having an auto detailing and paint correction business, it pains me so much to see these scratches and swirls. Just trying to help everyone not scratch their beloved Rebels.

But it does look amazing! I took everything off of the tailgate (before I knew there were alignment tabs on the RAM letters) and that 3M eraser wheel was my best fried.

How to:
1.Use fishing line to cut off the plastic emblems.
2.The left-over Rubber adhesive peels off easily with your finger nails on the sides and the back 4x4 emblem.
3. The Rubber adhesive on the Rebel Emblem is more difficult to remove....I used "Goof Off" professional grade to remove it....it takes some time. wipes it on and use a credit card to scrape..repeat...repeat...repeat until it is gone.

I like the cleaner look.
