Here's a look at the Rebel's undercarriage!

So much rust. Why do you think that is?

The rusted parts are ones that spin and can't or shouldn't be sprayed with rust protection. The drive shaft, transaxle, and, adjusting weights for the levelling. The only other is exhaust, in mine is stainless steel.

Any other parts on mine don't have rust because I had a rust protectant sprayed the first day before I took possession, but, if you don't spray then other parts will begin to rust very quickly in high salt areas, specially if you drive in snowy areas.

Not a mechanic by any means. Can someone tell me what this is? It's attached to the frame under passenger side.

Not sure. Possibly an evap cannister?

I've tried googling the part numbers etc. and even the bar code but come up with nothing?

I looked under mine once, ran over a squirrel. Though it’s brain may have been splattered under the vehicle, looked to see how bad it was, didn’t see anything and never looked back, I mean under.
