Hey all. I just had a set of new 20x9 Vision Rockers put on my 16 Rebel with air ride. Tires are 275/50/ R20 Duratracs.

I'm getting serious vibrations at speeds of 50+. Had them rebalanced, new centering rings and put through a road force machine to check if anything is out of round. They did 2 different alignments (they say their machine overrides the need to put the truck in alignment mode, which i dont buy)... Nothing. Installer says the truck must have rode like that prior and now it's only felt more because of the bigger rim. I call bullshut. I feel like Clark Griswold after he jumped the family truckster. Serious wobble and vibration.

The tires he put on are SL rated and not LT. It says in my door jam that LT tires are required.

After back and forth fighting with the installer who says LT is only required for the stock 17" rim, and a senior installer from a different location of the same store saying it must have LTs... I'm annoyed as **** as I've been in and out of a "wheel and tire specialist " atleast 5 times. Each time leaving disappointed.

They are going to put LTs on at no extra cost, after going through their regional manager and the guy at other location. But the shop who did the original work has to do it, as its seen as their screw up. That guy says this is only going to make it worse.

So. Is everyone running LTs?

Got the LTs, still vibration at the same speeds, just not as bad. Mostly from the rear.

Any suggestions?
I had a previous RAM and had the tires balance several times and they use stick-on weights and that would cause a vibration it would not stop until they put the old fashioned clip-on weights on the sides of the rims
