I want to hardwire my radar detector into the overhead console. Any tips? Does anyone have a wiring diagram?

I'm sure you can tap into one of the overhead console lights for 12v. Only problem I think is that the radar may not turn off when you exit. Might be best to run the wires down the piller and tap into the accessories 12v like the cig lighter. Power when you start and off when you're done.
