How long did it take to pull the grille apart and get the emblems off?

About 5-10 minutes to get the grille off and maybe 15 to get the letters off. When taking off the letters from the grille the key is needle nose pliars, gentle pressure pulling back while twisting off the backings. Only tools needed are needle nose pliars, 8mm and 10mm sockets as I recall.

I've posted these in a different post but figured this might help some ppl with ideas of how it looks. It might not be everyone's cup of tea but damn do I ever love it! The 22" Light bar fit rite in there but tight!! Not cutting though which is good.

Looks good! Clever idea of putting the light behind the lettering. How did you paint the hooks?

Thanks! I just untightened the 2 front nuts and fully unscrewed the rear one and took the hoof rite out. Its pretty simple actually.

I didn't remove the grill to get the letters off. I actually broke the back of the posts off...prob not the best way, but the posts were very fragile and a few were already broken!! I glued the letters back on.

They do not pop off. I actually broke the back of the posts off to remove them...glued them back on.
