Alrighty... So less than 1000 miles and I noticed this small puddle under the truck. Not sure if it's Transmission fluid or something else.

It very thin/watery but it did rain today and could be diluted from water dripping off the truck.

I've had the truck parked in two positions the past couple days, one with the front end/engine close to this spot yesterday, and today with the rear end over this spot.

Any thoughts?

Long delay in replying since I just joined, but the first thing is to rub the liquid between your fingers and smell it. Transmission/hydraulic fluid has a certain smell, as does hypoid gear oil. It'll feel oily. If it's just dirty water, it won't smell or have that petroleum feel. You should familiarize yourself with the smell and feel of the various fluids and lubricants, so it's easier to identify a mystery liquid on the ground when you find it.

smell, feel and appearance. Consider looking at the liquids under a black light to help identify them, starting with a look at the dip sticks.

Due to the pinkish color it’s either tranny fluid or steering fluid.
gear oil from the diffs is very heavy and thick, will also have a strong odor.
crawl under with a flash light and look around the rack and pinion, and the transmission pan. That much of a leak should be easy to point out under the truck.
