Should I be concerned about a 480 pound plow on a 2016 rebel? Only plowing my driveway. Another concern is the air ride suspension, would it put stress on it? I had a 2008 F150 that was recommended not to put one on but did anyway never had a problem.

Ram recommends minimum 2500 truck for snowplows.

I would always start with a 3/4 or 1 ton truck for plowing. It's hard on the tranny and rest of the drivetrain. It's a very different work load than towing. But that's me.

I would not use a plow. Too hard on the transmission.

Trucks that shoud have a plow on them have an option for a plow package. A 1/2 ton anything is not a proper plow truck. The Rebel was designed to drive over the snow not push it.
