In the past two week I have seen three other RAM's with Ramboxes. In all cases the black cover to the RamBox which also services as a walk way have serious soalrazation issues. In one case the black cover had turned completly white.

While this has not happened to my Rebel, I wonder if there is anything I can do to prevent this deterorartion? I do not store my truck in a garage, so this does have me worried, because the trucks I saw with faded RamBox covers looked awful.

My 2010 had this issue, and were replaced under warranty. My 14 never had any issues with it. I hope my 17 doesn't either.

I wash and wax every other weekend. Hoping that will prevent that

Do you think a product like Amorol might help protect the plastic from UV?

Na that stuff is the worst. Get some of mcguires spray on wax
