Looking to paint the tow hooks and RAM letters Flame Red to match the truck and the front skid plate just black to match the rest of the bumper. Looking to see what paint people used, was it just plasti dip or did you use something different? As well same question on Primer.

Like this? Used Dupli-Color - primer, Flame Red & clear coat. (All available on Amazon). One note: it's near impossible to paint the letters while on the grill. And removing them destroys the clips. So I ordered a replacement set, (under $30US), and painted them before taking off the originals and replacing with the newly painted ones.

I literally just photoshopped this up to see how it looks. If you look at the TRX, they also do the red around the park sensors/foglights.

I also want to spray the silver skid plate black to match the bumper.

Looks real nice in my opinion

I’m going to X-line to black out the silver front skid plate as well.

Did you get a set of actual letters? I've seen some on eBay have the Vinyl letter. Not sure which would be easier/more permanent?

I actually tried the final letters and the bevels remained silver. So I bought the set of replacement letters, painted them, then installed them on the front, replacing the originals.

Just a thought... I blacked out my RAM letters using vinyl overlays purchased on eBay. They have them in just about every OEM color and so many others as well. The only downside, which I actually didn't see as a downside, I love the way it looked, is you see a very thin line of the original silver color around the edges. It's a pretty cool highlight. I think the flame red will look great with the edge.
