I wanted a second battery for truck camping. It will power my stuff in the bed of truck like fan, lights, laptop and charging devices without using main battery.
Wasn't a good spot available under the hood so I made a frame mount battery tray. I choose driver side at rear of cab. It is made from scrap pieces I had laying around the garage. I never throw metal away.
The mounting bolts go through the frame with a nut on the backside. Tray is intended for a side post style battery.
I thought I'd post pics to inspire anyone else looking for the same.
