My spare tire is a Good Year Wrangler 265 / 70 R17 which is obviously a different brand tire and the wrong size compared to what's on the truck. I noticed others on here have commented on this also.

Has anyone purchased the correct size tire and does it fit under the truck?

I have the same tire too!
I guess the bigger one would fit.
It's interesting watching the FCA videos saying everything of the truck was redesign to fit and match the idea behind building the rebel and they omit that.

Probably the same reason other FCA vehicles get a small donut for a spare. It's just a spare.

I actually complained to my dealer about it and you should've heard their technical answer on this. By the time I get a flat the rest of the tires will be worn down to where there isn't much of a size difference between the new 265 spare and worn 285s that are on the truck.

My main concern though, is I do tow and I'm not comfortable having a different size spare. I'm actually considering leaving the 265 spare underneath and purchasing a 285 with another steel wheel to throw in the bed when I tow.
