Just ordered a new 2020 rebel white with black trim, 66,000 all the options cant wait for this ride!

just mounted my 102” whip in preparation for my CB Radio which should be here on Tuesday.

But I found out I need to flip the mount around, because the cable will interfere when I put my Lighlift back on the rack.

Turned the mount around and I was able to get the high lift mounted up

My plan is to mount it up in the headliner on the passenger side next to my switches.
I.m going to add a plate on the other side of the headliner and mount the bracket to that, essentially sandwiching the headliner between the plat and mounting bracket. I should be able to jump the power and ground from the switches. Then all I have to do is run the coax and PA wire through the headliner

that’s the plan anyways, but we’ll see how it turns out
I have until next Tuesday to figure it out, as my SWR Meter should be here by then.

I’ve always wanted a CB up top like the big rigs ever since I was a kid LOL
I’ve already got my auxiliary switches up there... this CB is pretty small and pretty light plus the headliner is pretty thick and sturdy. So I’m not too worry about it being weighted down.... but we will see

Hi- plenty of room for a Cobra 29 and external speaker in the 2019 Rebel center console. Side mounted the antennas for two radios in the bed's stakeholes bleach side. Mounted the 2 meter just under the steering wheel. Both radios are directly wired to the battery.

here’s with the CB mounted and powered, but I’m considering cutting a notch in the sun visor then it can flip all the way back up.
