I got a 2017 rebel that I just installed the mopar trailer brake module in and used the alpha obd to turn everything on. The truck shows the gain options in the cluster and the trailer settings in the raido but I have a service trailer when I squeeze the brake controller . I hooked up to the trailer and when I squeeze controller the line on the cluster goes up to max but won’t stop the trailer and then the service trailer brake message pops up. Has anyone else ran into this issue ? I’m thinking maybe bad module but idk

Totally sounds like a bad Module. Did you buy used?

No it was new from dealer . I have an aftermarket one coming my brother has used for a couple years now should be here tomorrow
