I am sorry for the redundancy...

So you are saying I can install a K&N or S&B CAI along with the MOPAR CAI hood air duct adapter?
Oh no. Sorry thought you were just ask I g about other CAPs. I don't think any of them work with the air duct adapter. Personally I wouldnt bother with it.

Here's the million dollar question....are you going to add the Mopar Cold Air Intake hood air duct adapter Part Number: 82214741 that the SEMA Rebel X had combined with the Mopar CAI? Which would mean functional hood vents bitches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont see why it wouldnt work you would just have to remove the plexi cover and the mopar vent kit will divert air to that area. It will not seal against the box but it will still deliver cold air to the filter area...

I am very skeptical of a down flow CAI. Doesn't work well on the challenger as water and everything else seems to get sucked in...

Here is my CAI and hood intake...

After crunching the numbers for the last tank of fuel it seems to be getting just over 20mpg, mostly highway. I did a hard look at the hp too with the induction intakes, the CAI, and the cat back exhaust, it should be just around 500hp. I don't have access to a dyno but it kicks like a mule on steroids and growls like a mountain lion now!
Hey Chris do mind telling me the cost here in Canada for both items

I'll get my invoices out, but buying molar parts and getting the dealer to install them is between 2 to 3 times more expensive. If you can install anything your self you could save half the cost right away. I have bad disabilities and trust my dealers service dept because a very long time friend works there.

So you payed about 1300 for the CAI and the hood duct to go to the CAI ?

You

You silver-tongued devil you. Think ii may have a CAI in my future

I did the CAI, duct, and muffler all at the same time. It added about 5 mpg highway.
